Art and Design, Photography

Found this over on Degourget today whilst surfing. They say:

Light painting, or light graffiti, is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. Typically the light source itself, or guy swinging around the tourch, does not appear in the image. The term light painting also encompasses images lit from outside the frame with hand-held light sources.

The above image is done by Cenci Goepel und Jens Warnecke from Lightmark in Germany. They have done some of the slickest light paintings we’ve seen before.

One the the webs most interesting blogs, WebUrbanist, has a nice collection here.
As usual, some pictures and a bonus light painting video after the jump.
