Prince’s new Photobook was released last month, and we finally got our hands on a copy. The book features some great shots from Prince’s 21 nights in London in 2007. Shots were taken by Randee St. Nicholas who shadowed Prince for most of his London stint. Sadly, whilst the photography is quite good, there are lots of blank pages that just have a few lines of Prince’s poetry. Not sure if this is to give the impression that the book has more pages that it should have, but it was quite disappointing thumbing through so many black pages through the book. The quality of the shots are a little hit and miss. Whilst the live shots and staged shots are great, there are some really random shots (for example: hotel rooms in the Dorchester) and to be honest these feel like filler shots and have not much to do with the 21 Nights in London Tour.
VERDICT: 85% - Still a great book for any Prince fan.

Eva Padberg has an amazing online portfolio. We can’t even begin to imagine the Flash Actionscripting that went in to this layout, but it’s really fun to play with and very intuitive. Nice work.
